    Students of Our Lady of the Rosary High School participated in the 30th Annual Festival of Plants and flowers. Ms. Lakshita Gawas and Ms. Sejal Naik from Std IX won the first place in the flower Rangoli competition while Ms. Gabriella Dias and Ms. Myesha Coutinho from Std VIII won the third place in Grafting.

      Patriotic singing competition was held on the 18th August at our Lady of the Rosary high school Cujjira, Bambolim, organized by Lokmanya Multipurpose co-operative. Our 14 students were participated and won the 2nd place.

            Actizen club of OLRHS organized the 2nd Inter-School Konkani poetry writing and recitation competition where 29 students participated in the recitation category and 19 in the writing.               As part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, 140 students of Std. VIII were taken for a Prabhat Pheri on 9th August 2022 from the school to the Dona Paula circle. The Headmistress flagged off the rally. Teacher incharge Tr. Nisha Polle and Tr. Carol Gomes

                The students of Std VI and Vii attended a talk on “Menstrual Hygiene” conducted by Dr. Sophia Rodrigues. She explained to the students about the menstrual cycle and personal hygiene. She highlighted the myths and about periods.

                  The students of Std V attended a session on Personal Hygiene and Menstruation by Dr. Snehankita Sheth. She advised students on the Do’s and Don’ts of personal hygiene and explained to students about the menstrual cycle. She highlighted myths and taboos of periods.

                      An innovation talk was conducted for the students of std IX A,B,C from 11:30am to 12:30am on the main focus of the talk was Innovation, creativity and Ideation. The talk was conducted by Fun minds learning Tech. Pvt. Ltd in collaboration with Goa Stage Innovation council and Don Bosco College of Engineering Fatorda.
