    Students of std VIII A, B, and C were taken on an Educational trip to Para on 8th August to witness the use of modern technology in farming. An initiative by Mr. Kenneth Lopes, Mr. Stanley, and Mr.Neville, demonstrated the use of tractor and Japanese technology transplanter machine to the students.

      A talk on Menstruation and Menstrual Hygiene was held on 8th August for the students of std V, Vi, and Vii by Dr.Snehaankita Sunil Shet. She enlightens the students on the bodily changes that take place at the onset of puberty and ways to maintain personal hygiene during menstruation.

          The ‘Consumer Club’ organized a poster-making competition for the students of std V-X on the topic ‘Importance of Helmets’ in keeping with one of the consumer rights i.e. ‘Right to safety’.

            Our school in collaboration with ‘Dalgado Konkani Academy organized its 3rd All Goa Inter-School Poetry writing and recitation competition in Romi Konkani on 12th August.

              Independence Day was celebrated in the primary school on the 14th of August 2023.                 The Director of Fundacao Oriente Panjim, Dr. Paulo Gomes visited the school on 18th August and so Portuguese Day was celebrated in school. Ms. Tonia de Souza coordinated the program with the Higher Secondary school Portuguese teacher Mrs. Melvina Fernandes. The students presented various items.

                  The ‘Alpha Minds’ conducted a talk for the students of std 9 and 10 on ‘Right Career Choices on 22nd August. The resource person Mrs.Deepa from Alpha Minds guided the students to pursue a career based on their Aptitude.
