    The students members of the ‘Interact Club’ attended a bread making and cup cake making session at Delfino’s Bakery Taleigao on 5th December. The members actively participated and had a good learning experience.

      The annual medical camp for the students was held from Dec 1 upto Dec 7. Students were checked for general health and their teeth. Students requiring treatment were given referral letters to visit GMC.

        Auxillium High School Caranzalem organized ‘Eco Fiesta’ for the students of Std 8, 9, and 10 on 18th Dec. Our students participated in various competitions held and were judged ‘Overall Winners’ of the Event.               In view of the literacy week held from 1st to 8th Sept. a poster competition was organised on the topic ‘Importance of Education’ for all classes and a discussion was held for the students of Std 7 on the topic ‘Education for all’ on 9th September.

                A talk on ‘Mental Health’ was conducted by undergraduate students of Psychology on 9th September for the students of Std 8. Different types of Cyber bullying and mental health was explained.

                  Don Bosco High School organised an Interschool, Nurturing sustainable Future Event, “Green Horizon” on 9th September.                     Students of Std 7 A, B, C were taken on a field trip to the saligao waste treatment plant on 13th Sept. This activity was organised in association with the Leo Club of Calangute and Lions Club, Panaji. The students understood the process of waste segregation and its significance to the environment.

                      The ministry of Education, Government of India has taken an inspiring initiative called ‘Veer Gatha’ a project to foster and promote gallantry talents among students in Indian schools. Under this a pencil sketch competition of Indian Gallantry award winners was organised for the students of std V-X.
