Helen Keller Day (Yellow House)
The Yellow House celebrated “Helen Keller Day” – a tribute to the remarkable life and legacy of a woman who turned her challenges into triumphs.The compere was House Capt. Crystal Raposo. The house mistresses and 3 student representatives placed rose petals in front of the portrait of Helen Keller as a mark of our respect and admiration. A slideshow was presented hightlighting the inspiring life of Helen Keller followed by a quiz conducted by Deanne and Reanna Nazareth. Student winners were presented prizes for the quiz. To end the programme a ‘Blindfold dance was presented by Nisha Kudnekar and Antra pillewan. The entrance wall was beautifully decorated to mark this special day, adding colour and joy to the celebration. Housemistresses: Tr. Amalia, Tr. Tafseen, Tr. Sr. Leema Rose, Tr. Angela, Tr.
