    Our school in collaboration with ‘Dalgado Konkani Academy organized its 3rd All Goa Inter-School Poetry writing and recitation competition in Romi Konkani on 12th August.

        The Director of Fundacao Oriente Panjim, Dr. Paulo Gomes visited the school on 18th August and so Portuguese Day was celebrated in school. Ms. Tonia de Souza coordinated the program with the Higher Secondary school Portuguese teacher Mrs. Melvina Fernandes. The students presented various items.

          The ‘Alpha Minds’ conducted a talk for the students of std 9 and 10 on ‘Right Career Choices on 22nd August. The resource person Mrs.Deepa from Alpha Minds guided the students to pursue a career based on their Aptitude.

                  A talk was delivered by Dr. Maria Carla De Melo on the topic ‘Dental Care and Oral Hygiene’ to the students of std 5-8 on 29th August

                    Inter-school Folk dance competition ‘ NrityaSangam’ was organized by Santa Cruz High School on 30th August. Our students performed the ‘Kalbeliya’ dance and won 2nd place for the same.

                      A talk on ‘Road Safety’ was held on 1st September. The resource persons were Mr.Tukaram Shet Mandrekar(ASI, Panaji Traffic cell) and Mr. Bashir Mulha(ASI Calangute traffic cell). They enlightened the students about the traffic and road rules and regulations and informed them how we all need to act as responsible citizens to maintain road safety.
