The ‘Consumer Club of the school organized a talk for the students of std VIII, IX and X on 10th August on the topic ‘Adulteration of Food’. The resource person Mrs.PrachiBorkar, Asst. A chemist from the Directorate of Food and Drug Administration, along with her team informed the students about the various adulterants commonly added to food items and demonstrated various techniques to detect adulteration in food at home.
