Gandhi Day was commemorated on 1st October in the school. The day began with garlanding portait and lighting the lamp. A quiz on the life of Gandhi was conducted class wise and a song was sung by the Gandhi House students. Students of Std IX made an A4 size collage of logos of swadeshi goods. Std VII and VIII had to make articles using fresh palm leaves. All students were requested to bring tiffins made at home out of rice, wheat, gram, moong etc. Cleanliness was carried out by the students in their respective classes.
