Rosary Trophy 2022

Our Lady of the Rosary High School Dona Paula organized the Rosary Trophy 2022 on the school ground on 1st April 2022. It was for the first time that an event were by most of the Institutions from Tiswadi Taluka participated in the Inter school staff cricket tournament.

There was an Exhibition cricket match between ex-Rosarians V/s Dhruv Sports and cultural club, Parse, the match was won by the invited team i.e Dhruv sports and cultural club-Parse and ex-Rosarians emerged runners up

The Inter staff cricket tournament had a good response from the schools and Higher Secondary’s across Tiswadi Taluka. Total Ten teams participated. The chief guest for the Tournament was Dr. Vivek Pawar – Assistant Director (PES) Directorate of sports and Youth Affairs

The Guest Invited were as follows:

Mr. Albert Desa – Ex PTA member and Businessman

Mr. Amlon D’Souza – Benefactor and Businessman

Mr. Socorro Vaz – Benefactor and Businessman

Mr. Vincent Rosarioa – Tackwando Coach

Sister Janet Ameida – Pricipal of Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary.

The Tournament for inter staff school and Higher Secondary ended with a thrilling finals between Jadeed High School Chimbel and Fr. Agnel High School/Higher Secondary Pillar, wereby Jadeed High school emerged the champions and lifted the Rosary Trophy 2022 and Fr. Agnel High School/Higher secondary Pillar received the Runners up Trophy.

All the Participating school were given a memento, free refreshments. The exhibition match winners and runners up were given cash prize and trophy each. The winners and runners up of this tournament were given cash prizes and trophies, also man of the match for each match and lastly man of the tournament was also rewarded.
