The Directorate of Urban Health Services, Panjim conducted a talk on “AIDS” on 29th November for the students of Std 8th. The students were informed about the information on AIDS, difference between AIDS and HIV, how HIV is transmitted, can be prevented and so on. Our school girls participated in a quiz held by Urban Health Centre, Panaji on the observance of worlds aids day and won the first prize. Organizer of the talk was Tr. Merlyn Menezes Gama.
